Ian Tiso had a quick chat to Midge Ure at the Acoustic Festival of Britain in 2016 at the Uttoxeter Racecourse, where Midge received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding service to music both electric and acoustic.

Primarily a guitarist, Midge Ure had hits with various bands including Visage, Ultravox and a No.1 hit single with Slik (Forever and Ever) before becoming a very successful solo artist, again reaching the UK No.1 spot with the song ‘If I Was’.

Midge still records new material and plays theatres and festivals all over the UK and beyond.
